Ant Lester is Managing Director of Investments at Catenate Advisory and one of South Africa's most experienced institutional investment advisors. With over 30 years of investment consulting experience, he has advised many of the country's largest retirement funds on investment strategy, governance and long-term decision-making.

Ant was a founder shareholder of Fifth Quadrant Actuaries & Consultants, which later became Willis Towers Watson South Africa, and previously served as Managing Director of Old Mutual Actuaries & Consultants. Although he qualified as an actuary in 1989, his career has been focused on helping institutional investors navigate complex investment challenges.

Throughout his career, Ant has earned respect for his practical judgement, strategic clarity and ability to bring perspective to even the most complex investment decisions. He combines technical depth with genuine commercial understanding and remains committed to delivering outcomes that matter to clients.
